WZB Summer Party & Farewell Jutta Allmendinger 2024

Dear colleagues

We are happy to see you would like to sign up for the double-themed “WZB-Summer Party 2024 & Farewell Jutta Allmendinger-party” that will take place on Tuesday, June 18 2024.

Due to organisational purposes, we not only need to know with whom you will be attending, but also if you will contribute to the Potluck-buffet and if so, with what dish. Additionally, we need to know if you would like to participate in the percussions or singing workshop and then performance. You also have the chance to join your colleagues on stage for a short speech /greeting (max. 2 Minutes) in honor of Jutta Allmendinger.

Concerning the drumming event: The 90-minute long workshop will take place on June 18 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the courtyard. Surely, it will be quite an experience and create an unforgettable united farewell-present. The performance will take place at 5:30 p.m.

Concerning the singing performance: Rehearsal is scheduled, so far, for June 18 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the courtyard.

Children’s corner: Although we are organising a couple of play stations for the children, we cannot provide proper child care. Should you own suitable outdoor-games or are willing to look after one of the stations for some time, please contact Bambi Dupslaff (bambi.dupslaff@wzb.eu).

Program: This is a rough outline. Please make sure the program is not seen by Jutta Allmendinger. A more detailed and finalised version will be sent to everyone (Excluding Jutta Allmendinger, of course 😊) shortly before the party:

4 p.m.: Opening

4.10 p.m.: WZB-SingAlong (singing performance ca. 5 min)
followed by: Opening speech by Ursula Noack, opening of the buffets and ice cart

5 p.m.: Open Mic: More or less spontaneous speeches (Please notify Lena Hipp, should you wish to participate)

5.30 p.m.: Rhythm - WZB-drumming(ca. 5 min.)

6 p.m.: Big Sounds – Colorful Drinks: Aria by Denise Felsecker and opening of cocktail-Bar

7 p.m.: Showtime - Musical Performances by:
1) MIT,
2) IPI,
3) Bambi Dupslaff/Janice Ngiam (TD)
followed by: Dancing on the dancefloor (DJs: Nora Dasch und Eylem Kanol)

9.30 p.m.: Late-Night Pizza

From 4 p.m. on there will also be: a photo-booth and live-cooking
