Dear colleagues,

Very soon it's happening: The WZB-Summerfest 2023 will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 starting at 4 p.m. in the inner courtyard, this year organized by us colleagues of the science supporting areas, commonly known as WE.

Under the motto "WE will rock you" it will be, as always, a party for the whole house. We look forward to an afternoon and evening with you - with beautiful weather, light and not-so-light drinks, stimulating conversation and your favorite music. One of the highlights will be our summer potluck buffet – for the first time again since pandemic times. We kindly ask you for your creative culinary contributions and want to set a colorful and richly decorated table with you.

We hope you will join us! Please register NOW so we know how many will be coming on May 31 and which buffet contributions we can count on for planning purposes. Please also register your partners and/or children.

Given the many crises in the world, we also want to offer the opportunity to donate to a good cause this time. If you would like to do so, please indicate this on your registration form. Every donation of 5 euros or more will be entered into the Summer Festival raffle and the drawing of a great prize.

The main times of the program are:
• 16.00: Get in the mood with ice cream truck, cake, children's program.
• 16.00: Welcome and opening of the redesigned library tower
• 17.00: Hearty buffet food
• 18.00: Opening of the WE cocktail bar
• 19.00: Music (Open End)
